WELCOME , NEIGHBOR.

A Community for refugees, asylees, immigrants, and all internationals in Shoreline, WA

OUR PURPOSE

We exist to meet the needs of our global neighbors.

The International Community Center (ICC) comes alongside new and long-term immigrants, including internationals, to offer holistic and faith-based services.

We believe our global neighbors should not only feel welcomed but be embraced, supported, and loved, so they can confidently re-establish their lives in their new country.

Asylees, refugees, immigrants, and internationals are arriving to the Greater Seattle area for a variety of reasons, yet many encounter similar difficulties.

Finding a place to live, getting a job, filling out legal paperwork, signing children up for school, navigating loss and loneliness… all of this while adjusting to a new language and culture. It can be overwhelming.

This is where the International Community Center steps in.

We come together to offer:

Two women, one wearing a hijab, engaged in conversation during a language learning session at a table with notebooks and pencils, with a speech bubble graphic overlaid that says 'ABC.'

We offer adult free English Language Learning (ELL) directed by Prof. Sharon Hamar of North Seattle College.

Our community loves to gather together and celebrate with good food and company. Check out our events for upcoming potlucks, Worship gatherings, Iftar dinners, food preservation classes, field trips and more!

We’ve created a hub of resources for our immigrant and international friends. If you’re settling into Shoreline, WA. area please, check out this list of resources and let us know if you need help with anything.

Get Involved

  • Become a financial partner with a one-time gift or by giving monthly. This money is used to support this organization and directly funds the needs that rise up within our community. When you give, you are helping alleviate the financial and emotional burden we see so many families and students face when arriving in our country.
